Mog House

The FFXI Mog House is essentially your Vavad'iel home. These are apartments that can be rented by the adventurers just as the three major nations of Vana d'iel subsidize the rents. A Mog House in Final Fantasy XI is your home point and in case your character dies, you start over from this spot.

Usually you have a FFXI Mog House in your native country but it can be rented in other towns as well.

FFXI Moogles

Within your private FFXI Mog House lives a tiny house-keeper called Moogle. The Moogle is an employee of the Mog House Maintenance Union (MHMU), which holds the Moogle responsible for taking care of your abode when you are away on your adventures. You have the choice to set up your FFXI Mog House just the way you like it, purchase furniture for it, place pots and decorative items to give a more homely feel to it.

Vocational Changes

Be it your main job or the sub job, you can change around while you are at your Mog House. Each job has a specific level, once you change a job you have to start at level 1 again but the good thing is that you can shift back to your old job anytime and join in at the level you left earlier. Common skills carry over from one job to another, but only until you complete the 'skill cap'

Safe Haven and the Mog Safe

Injured FFXI fighters looking for a breather turn to their Mog Houses for restoration of HP and MP. To top that, your stuff (at least 50 items) can be stored at your Mog House. In fact, you can store things that you feel you won't need during your time away. You can store a total of 30 items in your personal inventory that you can carry around when you go on your adventures. Items that are useless to you can be sold at ffxi auctions houses and shops. Or you could always save them in your Mog Safe for future use during quests. The choice is yours. The inventory of your Mog Safe is enhanced once you complete quests and earn a good reputation for yourself. Quests from Moogle aid in increasing your safe's capacity.

FFXI Delivery Service and the Mog House Delivery Box

You can sell things at the auction house but not every item you place there is sold each time round. The items that don't sell over a period of 9 weeks in Vana d'iel are returned by the auction house to your Mog House delivery box. In addition to that, friends or acquaintances can send things to you through the NPC near the auction house and deliver them to your delivery box.

Profit Gardening

FFXI Gardening isn't just a real life hobby; you can take up gardening in your Mog House and grow plants and flowers to beatify your Mog house. To add to the beautification factor, there are some profits to be earned by this little investment of time and ffxi gil. A new flower pot may cost you over a 1000 gil but it will be a long term investment that will yield some very interesting plants depending on the crystals you feed your plants.

The catch is that you have to pay your FFXI plants attention. Check on them at least once a day, i.e. a real life day. Otherwise it will wither away uncared for. A few days after the plant grows you can feed the plant a crystal. The plant's type will depend on the type of crystal your feed it. The more attention you pay your FFXI plant the more it will yield. Sell the crops or use them on your quests the choice is yours, and so is the plant!

To buy FFXI Gil and accounts for cheap prices, MySuperSales is the trusted place to buy.
